Recording studio weekend

This weekend I spent working on music with my band MYAI. It’s always a good time as we are all super chill, and have a great time catching up and working on new ideas. For creative endeavors the pooling of talents, musical sensibilities, and enjoyment make the process a collaborative meeting of minds.

There the art I would make by myself, and what comes out working with Todd and Christoph is very different than the music I would write in a silo. It’s fun to with an idea and not know where it’s going to lead.

The studio we record at is quite nice. So it always feels like I’m having a luxury vacation experience in my own town. Some people like fancy faraway vacations, I like having recording weekend staycations with the dudes.
